Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) and the visiting Central Indians (Cheyenne, WY), saw Cherokee Trail's basketball squad hold off Central by a tally of 48-42.

With the victory, Cherokee Trail improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Grandview (Aurora, CO) to play the Wolves in a challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Grandview lost 50-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Rangeview (Aurora, CO)
