Florida High School Basketball - Gulf overwhelms Tampa Prep
January 14, 2023: Tampa, FL 33606 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) and the host Tampa Prep Terrapins (Tampa, FL), saw Gulf's basketball squad wallop Tampa Prep by a tally of 60-32.
With the victory, Gulf improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL) to confront the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 4-1.
Next up, the Terrapins confront the Brandon Academy Scorpions (Brandon, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Tampa Prep will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
