The East Canton Hornets (East Canton, OH) basketball knocked off the host Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH), 52-36 in Sunday's non-league test.

The Hornets (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Fairless (Navarre, OH). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Fairless went down by Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), 67-26, in a league test.
