New York High School Basketball - AuSable Valley ripped by Greenwich
January 14, 2024: Greenwich, NY 12834 In Sunday's non-league match, the host Greenwich Witches basketball team scored a decisive 74-36 triumph over the AuSable Valley Patriots.
In their next game, the Witches meet the Emma Willard Jesters (Troy, NY) in a Section 2 Wasaren match, on Monday, January 22. Greenwich will attempt to move on its 14-0 season record.
With the defeat, AuSable Valley moves to 7-4 on the year. The Patriots host Peru (Peru, NY) to confront the Nighthawks in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Peru won 49-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Fonda-Fultonville (Fonda, NY)
