Texas High School Basketball - Anson victorious over Stamford
January 14, 2025: Anson, TX 79501 In Tuesday's league contest, the host Anson Tigers basketball team scored a good 45-27 triumph over the Stamford Bulldogs.
The Tigers (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Haskell (Haskell, TX). The Indians go into the 2A Region II District 10 contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Haskell was topped by Cisco (Cisco, TX), 71-43, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 contest, on Friday, January 17. Stamford will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 9-10 record after their 65-48 league win over Albany (Albany, TX).
