January 14, 2025: Springfield, MO 65804 Carthage Tigers (Carthage, MO) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Glendale Falcons (Springfield, MO), 68-59 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Carthage advances its record to 8-3 on the year. The Tigers host McDonald County (Anderson, MO) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-5. McDonald County lost 86-70 in their recent non-league match against Webb City (Webb City, MO)
The Falcons now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bunker for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15. Glendale will face a Eagles squad coming off a 65-59 league win over Lesterville (Lesterville, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 11-0.
