North Carolina High School Basketball - Western Alamance fells Cedar Ridge

January 14, 2025: Hillsborough, NC 27278

The Western Alamance Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves to 39 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now have a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Person for a 3A Central game on Friday, January 17. Western Alamance will confront a Rockets team coming off a 74-71 league loss to Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Cedar Ridge falls to 5-11 on the year. The Fighting red wolves host Williams (Burlington, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A Central match on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 6-7. Williams won 60-57 in their recent league match against Western Alamance (Elon, NC)
