Illinois High School Basketball - College Prep of America knocks off Walther Christian Academy

January 14, 2025: Melrose Park, IL 60160

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting College Prep of America Thunder basketball team scored a good 66-52 win over the Walther Christian Academy Broncos.

The Thunder (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Westmont (Westmont, IL). The Sentinels come into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Westmont defeated Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL), 66-24, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Broncos battle the Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Prep contest, on Thursday, January 16. Walther Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Aces come into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 61-40 non-league win over Fasman Yeshiva (Skokie, IL).
