Montana High School Basketball - Russell triumphant over Havre
January 14, 2025: Great Falls, MT 59404 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Russell Rustlers (Great Falls, MT) and the visiting Havre Blue Ponies (Havre, MT), observed Russell's basketball team overwhelm Havre by a score of 55-21.
The Rustlers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Belgrade (Belgrade, MT). The Panthers go into the AA Eastern bout with a 0-7 record. In their last bout, Belgrade was ripped by Bozeman (Bozeman, MT), 65-47, in a league bout.
With the loss, Havre falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Blue ponies travel to Malta (Malta, MT) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Malta lost 78-74 in their recent league bout against Glasgow (Glasgow, MT)
