Washington High School Basketball - Interlake nips Hazen

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Interlake Saints basketball team scored a close 67-65 triumph over the Hazen Highlanders.

The Saints (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Newport - Bellevue (Bellevue, WA). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Newport - Bellevue was tipped by Lindbergh (Renton, WA), 67-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Cedarcrest Red Wolves (Duvall, WA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Hazen will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Red Wolves go into the contest with a 4-10 record after their 61-54 non-league loss to Juanita (Kirkland, WA).
