South Carolina High School Basketball - River Bluff holds off Irmo

January 14, 2025: Columbia, SC 29212

The River Bluff Gators basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Irmo Yellow Jackets to 45 in the Gators league triumph on Tuesday.

The Gators now have a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Chapin for a AAAAA Region 4 game on Friday, January 17. River Bluff will confront a Eagles team coming off a 63-39 league win over Lexington (Lexington, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Irmo falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to White Knoll (Lexington, SC) to confront the Timberwolves in a AAAAA Region 4 game on Friday, January 17. The Timberwolves go into the game with a record of 8-9. White Knoll lost 61-57 in their recent league game against Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC)
