New Mexico High School Basketball - Sandia Prep sneaks past Legacy Academy
January 14, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87113 The Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) basketball edged the visiting Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM), 52-50 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Sundevils now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Albuquerque Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. Sandia Prep will play a Chargers team coming off a 69-47 non-league win over Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Chargers record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Legacy Academy falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Silverbacks travel to Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Owls in a 2A District 2 bout on Monday, January 20. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Oak Grove Classical Academy won 58-52 in their recent non-league bout against Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM)
