South Dakota High School Basketball - Lemmon crushes Wakpala
January 14, 2025: Lemmon, SD 57638 The Lemmon Cowboys (Lemmon, SD) basketball crushed the visiting Wakpala Sioux (Wakpala, SD), 70-43 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Cowboys now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dupree for a B Region 8 bout on Thursday, January 16. Lemmon will play a Tigers team coming off a 61-52 league win over Harding County (Buffalo, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Wakpala falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Sioux travel to Little Wound (Kyle, SD) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Little Wound won 55-48 in their recent league bout against Todd County (Mission, SD)
