January 14, 2025: New Berlin, WI 53146 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the New Berlin West Vikings (New Berlin, WI) and the visiting Waukesha South Blackshirts (Waukesha, WI), observed New Berlin West's basketball team knock off Waukesha South by a score of 67-54.
The Vikings (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wisconsin Lutheran (Milwaukee, WI). The Vikings come into the Woodland - West challenge with a 11-0 record. In their last challenge, Wisconsin Lutheran prevailed over Homestead (Mequon, WI), 74-50, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Blackshirts battle the Kettle Moraine Lasers (Wales, WI) in a Classic Eight challenge, on Friday, January 17. Waukesha South will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Lasers come into the challenge with a 12-0 record after their 66-43 league win over Catholic Memorial (Waukesha, WI).
