Illinois High School Basketball - Rockford Christian routs St. Bede
January 14, 2025: Peru, IL 61354 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Rockford Christian Royal Lions basketball team scored a big 90-51 triumph over the St. Bede Bruins.
The Royal Lions (15-0) will now prepare for their contest against Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hawks go into the Big Northern contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Oregon was trounced by Rochelle (Rochelle, IL), 83-56, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bruins battle the Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL) in a Tri-County contest, on Friday, January 17. St. Bede will attempt to better on its 8-12 season record. The Rockets go into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 50-39 non-league loss to Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL).
