Oregon High School Basketball - Sweet Home holds off Siuslaw
January 14, 2025: Florence, OR 97439 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Sweet Home Huskies basketball team scored a close 49-48 triumph over the Siuslaw Vikings.
The Huskies (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bend (Bend, OR). The Lava Bears go into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Bend was tipped by Madras (Madras, OR), 62-55, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings confront the Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR) in a 3A Far West contest, on Friday, January 17. Siuslaw will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 8-5 record after their 52-24 league win over Rogue River (Rogue River, OR).
