Virginia High School Basketball - Southampton Academy crushes Windsor
January 14, 2025: Courtland, VA 23837 The Southampton Academy Raiders (Courtland, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA), 79-36 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Kenston Forest for a VISAA Division III bout on Friday, January 17. Southampton Academy will play a Kavaliers team coming off a 84-21 league win over Tidewater Academy (Wakefield, VA). The Kavaliers record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Windsor falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Dukes travel to Surry County (Dendron, VA) to play the Cougars in a Tri-Rivers bout on Wednesday, January 15. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Surry County lost 55-23 in their recent league bout against Franklin (Franklin, VA)
