Missouri High School Basketball - Vianney bests Whitfield
January 14, 2025: Kirkwood, MO 63122 The Vianney Golden Griffins basketball team scored 88 points and limited the visiting Whitfield Warriors to 69 in the Golden Griffins non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Griffins now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Louis University for a Metro Catholic game on Tuesday, January 14. Vianney will confront a Junior Bills team coming off a 78-47 league loss to De Smet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO). The Junior Bills record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Whitfield falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Gateway Legacy Christian Academy (Florissant, MO) to confront the Lions in a Freelance game on Thursday, January 16. The Lions go into the game with a record of 6-5.
