The Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA) basketball were winner over the host West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA), 82-73 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Harlem for a AAA Region 4 bout on Friday, January 17. Westside will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-52 league loss to Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, West Laurens falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Howard (Macon, GA) to play the Huskies in a AAA Region 4 bout on Friday, January 17. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Howard lost 52-39 in their recent non-league bout against Westside (Macon, GA)
