In Tuesday's league test, the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) basketball squad got by the host Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC), by a score of 52-47.

Next, the Sharks encounter the Beaufort Eagles (Beaufort, SC) in a AAAA Region 6 test, on Friday, January 17. May River will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 9-7 record after their 56-45 league loss to Bishop England (Charleston, SC).
