January 14, 2025: Three Springs, PA 17264 Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Northern Bedford County Panthers (Loysburg, PA), 65-23 in a league match.
With the victory, Southern Huntingdon County advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Rockets host Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA) to face the Raiders in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 1-9. Bellefonte lost 46-32 in their recent league match against Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA)
The Panthers now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Branch for a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. Northern Bedford County will face a Warriors squad coming off a 35-20 league loss to Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-12.
