Florida High School Soccer - Middleburg toppled by Matanzas
January 14, 2025: Palm Coast, FL 32137 Matanzas Pirates (Palm Coast, FL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Middleburg Broncos (Middleburg, FL), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Matanzas moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Seabreeze (Daytona Beach, FL) to clash with the Sandcrabs in a non-league test on Wednesday, January 15. The Sandcrabs come into the test with a record of 2-3. Seabreeze 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Spruce Creek (Port Orange, FL)
The Broncos now sport a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sandalwood for a non-league test on Thursday, January 16. Middleburg will clash with a Saints team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Paxon School For Advanced Studies (Jacksonville, FL). The Saints record now stands at 1-3.
