Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Fayetteville Academy Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), 40-24 in a league match.

With the victory, Halifax Academy upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Vikings travel to Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC) to face the Crusaders in a match on Thursday, January 16. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 6-4. Harrells Christian Academy lost 66-49 in their recent non-league match against Cape Fear Christian Academy (Erwin, NC)

The Eagles now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Halifax Academy for a match on Wednesday, January 22.
