The Rincon/University Rangers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Sahuaro Cougars to 56 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rangers now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Maryvale for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Rincon/University will confront a Panthers team coming off a 49-25 non-league win over Kofa (Yuma, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Sahuaro falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ) to confront the Nighthawks in a game on Tuesday, January 21. The Nighthawks go into the game with a record of 9-1.
