Georgia High School Basketball - Walton tops Alpharetta
January 15, 2022: Marietta, GA 30062 Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Alpharetta Raiders (Alpharetta, GA), 50-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Walton upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA) to play the Warriors in a AAAAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 4-12. North Cobb lost 77-65 in their recent league bout against Harrison (Kennesaw, GA)
Next up, the Raiders encounter the North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 17. Alpharetta will attempt to advance on its 6-12 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 0-15 record after their 46-34 league loss to Hampton (Hampton, GA).
