St. James Trojans (Montgomery, AL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Booker T. Washington Magnet Yellow Jackets (Montgomery, AL), 61-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. James upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Bullock County (Union Springs, AL) to play the Hornets in a 4A Area 3 bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 7-9. Bullock County lost 48-43 in their recent league bout against St. James (Montgomery, AL)
