Virginia High School Basketball - Freedom tipped by Stafford

The Stafford Indians basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Freedom Eagles to 54 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brooke Point for a Commonwealth contest on Thursday, January 20.

The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA). The Red Wolves enter the Eastern contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Gar-Field was nudged by Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA), 47-35, in a league contest.
