Oregon High School Basketball - South Eugene knocked off by Sunset

January 15, 2022: Portland, OR 97229

The Sunset Apollos basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting South Eugene Axe to 59 in the Apollos non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Apollos now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westview for a 6A Metro contest on Tuesday, January 18. Sunset will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 58-33 league loss to Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-9.

The Axe (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against South Medford (Medford, OR). The Panthers enter the 6A Southwest contest with a 10-2 record.
