January 15, 2022: Cheyenne, WY 82001 In Saturday's non-league match, the host East Thunderbirds basketball team scored a decisive 74-50 triumph over the Scottsbluff Bearcats.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds meet the Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY) in a 4A Southeast match, on Wednesday, January 19. East will attempt to move on its 12-0 season record. The Plainsmen enter the match with a 7-4 record after their 54-39 non-league win over Rock Springs (Rock Springs, WY).
With the defeat, Scottsbluff moves to 14-3 on the year. The Bearcats host Gering (Gering, NE) to meet the Bulldogs in a B District 8 match on Saturday, January 22. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 6-6.
