Wisconsin High School Basketball - Waunakee tops Edgewood
January 15, 2022: Waunakee, WI 53597 Waunakee Warriors (Waunakee, WI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Edgewood Crusaders (Madison, WI), 58-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Waunakee upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Monona Grove (Monona, WI) to play the Silver Eagles in a Badger - East bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Silver Eagles come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Monona Grove lost 79-40 in their recent non-league bout against Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Sauk Prairie Eagles (Prairie du Sac, WI) in a Badger - West bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Edgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 73-46 non-league win over Stoughton (Stoughton, WI).
