California High School Basketball - Grossmont nips Rancho Bernardo
January 15, 2022: El Cajon, CA 92021 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) and the visiting Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA), saw Grossmont's basketball squad hold off Rancho Bernardo by a tally of 51-46.
With the victory, Grossmont improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Foothillers host Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA) to play the Monarchs in a Grossmont - Hills challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Monte Vista won 48-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Santana (Santee, CA)
Next up, the Broncos play the Mission Hills Grizzlies (San Marcos, CA) in a Palomar challenge, on Wednesday, January 19. Rancho Bernardo will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record.
