Connecticut High School Basketball - Wilton nudges New Fairfield
January 15, 2022: New Fairfield, CT 06812 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT) basketball squad edged the host New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT), by a count of 44-37.
The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Senators go into the Fairfield County outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, McMahon was tipped by Immaculate (Danbury, CT), 65-42, in a non-league outing.
The Rebels now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Immaculate for a Southwest - Patriot outing on Tuesday, January 18. New Fairfield will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 65-42 non-league win over McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-4.
