Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Phoenixville holds off Pottstown
January 15, 2022: Pottstown, PA 19464 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Phoenixville Phantoms (Phoenixville, PA) and the host Pottstown Trojans (Pottstown, PA), saw Phoenixville's basketball squad hold off Pottstown by a tally of 66-65.
With the victory, Phoenixville improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Phantoms travel to Pottsgrove (Pottsgrove, PA) to confront the Falcons in a Pioneer challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Pottsgrove lost 54-16 in their recent league challenge against Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Upper Merion Area Vikings (King of Prussia, PA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Pottstown will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 49-32 league loss to Upper Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA).
