Georgia High School Basketball - West Forsyth thwarts Wesleyan
January 15, 2022: Cumming, GA 30040 The West Forsyth Wolverines (Cumming, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA), 62-54 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Gainesville (Gainesville, GA). The Red Elephants go into the AAAAAAA Region 6 test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Gainesville went down by Lambert (Suwanee, GA), 68-42, in a league test.
The Wolves now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to McEachern for a non-league test on Monday, January 17. Wesleyan will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 65-51 non-league loss to Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Indians record now stands at 9-6.
