Illinois High School Basketball - De La Salle nips Farragut
January 15, 2023: Chicago, IL 60623 De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Farragut Admirals (Chicago, IL), 55-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, De La Salle upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Meteors host St. Rita (Chicago, IL) to play the Mustangs in a Chicago Catholic - Blue bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 10-8. St. Rita lost 63-48 in their recent non-league bout against Staley (Kansas City, MO)
Next up, the Admirals play the Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - Red Northwest bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Farragut will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 88-67 league win over Perspectives-IIT/Joslin (Chicago, IL).
