Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Farrell can't hold off Shenango
January 15, 2023: Farrell, PA 16121 The Shenango Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Farrell Steelers to 59 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aliquippa for a WPIAL 2A 1 contest on Wednesday, January 18. Shenango will battle a Quips team coming off a 59-41 non-league loss to New Town (Owings Mills, MD). The Quips record now stands at 7-3.
The Steelers (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jamestown (Jamestown, PA). The Muskies enter the District 10 Region 1 contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Jamestown nudged Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA), 61-45, in a non-league contest.
