Ohio High School Basketball - Jackson crushes Woodward
January 15, 2023: Toledo, OH 43608 Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Woodward Polar Bears (Toledo, OH), 68-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jackson upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Polar Bears travel to Hoover (North Canton, OH) to clash with the Vikings in a Federal bout on Friday, January 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Hoover lost 51-48 in their recent non-league bout against Chaney (Youngstown, OH)
Next up, the Polar Bears clash with the Bowsher BlueRacers (Toledo, OH) in a Toledo City bout, on Friday, January 20. Woodward will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The BlueRacers go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 80-61 non-league loss to Sandusky (Sandusky, OH).
