Maryland High School Basketball - South Shore topped by McDonogh
January 15, 2023: Owings Mills, MD 21117 The McDonogh Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting South Shore Vikings to 48 in the Eagles non-league victory on Sunday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roland Park Country for a IAAM A contest on Wednesday, January 18. McDonogh will battle a Reds team coming off a 41-33 league loss to Mercy (Baltimore, MD). The Reds record now stands at 4-7.
The Vikings (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against McEachern (Powder Springs, GA). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, McEachern was defeated by Bullis (Potomac, MD), 64-47, in a non-league contest.
