Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Springfield fells Chichester
January 15, 2024: Springfield, PA 19064 Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Chichester Eagles (Boothwyn, PA), 57-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Springfield upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Cougars travel to Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA) to clash with the Jaguars in a Central bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Garnet Valley won 59-48 in their recent league bout against Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Academy Park Knights (Sharon Hill, PA) in a Delaware Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Chichester will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 55-49 non-league win over Girard College (Philadelphia, PA).
