Washington High School Basketball - Enumclaw edges Kent-Meridian
January 15, 2024: Enumclaw, WA 98022 The Enumclaw Hornets (Enumclaw, WA) basketball nipped the visiting Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA), 36-34 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hornets (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Orting (Orting, WA). The Cardinals go into the 2A South Puget Sound test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Orting was tipped by Franklin Pierce (Tacoma, WA), 80-39, in a league test.
The Royals now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Auburn Riverside for a 3A/4A North Puget Sound test on Friday, January 19. Kent-Meridian will encounter a Ravens squad coming off a 81-69 league win over Kentlake (Kent, WA). The Ravens record now stands at 3-8.
