Ohio High School Basketball - New Albany tops Heath
January 15, 2024: New Albany, OH 43054 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the New Albany Eagles (New Albany, OH) and the visiting Heath Bulldogs (Heath, OH), saw New Albany's basketball squad knock off Heath by a tally of 43-30.
With the victory, New Albany improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Westerville Central (Westerville, OH) to play the Warhawks in a Ohio Capital - Ohio challenge on Friday, January 19. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Westerville Central won 74-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Belmont (Dayton, OH)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH) in a Licking County - Cardinal challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Heath will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Johnnies come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 63-42 non-league win over Sheridan (Thornville, OH).
