Minnesota High School Basketball - St. James can't hold off Le Sueur-Henderson
January 15, 2024: Le Sueur, MN 56058 The Le Sueur-Henderson Giants basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting St. James Saints to 71 in the Giants non-league triumph on Monday.
The Giants now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maple River for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Le Sueur-Henderson will battle a Eagles team coming off a 84-47 non-league win over Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 10-14.
The Saints (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Flying Dutchmen enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Edgerton nudged Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN), 58-52, in a league contest.
