The Rock Falls Rockets basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves to 57 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Monday.

The Rockets now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Boone for a Big Northern contest on Friday, January 19. Rock Falls will meet a Vikings team coming off a 60-38 non-league loss to Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 7-11.

The Red Wolves (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL). The Mustangs enter the South Suburban contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Evergreen Park nudged Bremen (Midlothian, IL), 51-16, in a league contest.
