The Cathedral Academy Generals basketball team (North Charleston, SC), was overwhelmed 55-29 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC)

The Chargers now possess a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinewood Prep for a SCISA AAAA Region III battle on Friday, January 19. Northwood Academy will confront a Panthers team coming off a 47-40 non-league loss to Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-13.

The Generals (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Andrew Jackson Academy (Ehrhardt, SC). The Warriors come into the SCISA AA Region I battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Andrew Jackson Academy was overwhelmed by North (North, SC), 50-40, in a non-league battle.
