Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North East over Fort LeBoeuf
January 15, 2024: North East, PA 16428 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) and the visiting Fort LeBoeuf Bison (Waterford, PA), saw North East's basketball squad overcome Fort LeBoeuf by a tally of 52-44.
With the victory, North East improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Grape Pickers host Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to play the Lakers in a District 10 Region 3 challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Mercyhurst Prep won 58-13 in their recent league challenge against Titusville (Titusville, PA)
Next up, the Bison play the McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) in a District 10 Region 6 challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Fort LeBoeuf will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 44-38 league loss to General McLane (Edinboro, PA).
