California High School Basketball - Hayward thwarts Ukiah
January 15, 2024: Ukiah, CA 95482 The Hayward Farmers (Hayward, CA) basketball knocked off the host Ukiah Wildcats (Ukiah, CA), 52-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Farmers (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Yellowjackets go into the West Alameda County - Shoreline test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Berkeley went down by Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA), 60-13, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal Newman for a North Bay - Oak test on Thursday, January 18. Ukiah will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 71-12 league win over Analy (Sebastopol, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 18-2.
