West Virginia High School Basketball - Linsly nudges Trinity
January 15, 2024: Wheeling, WV 26003 In Monday's non-league outing, the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) basketball squad nipped the visiting Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA), by a margin of 61-58.
The Cadets (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH). The Purple Riders go into the Buckeye 8 outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Martins Ferry got by Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH), 66-42, in a non-league outing.
The Hillers now own a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Chartiers Valley for a non-league outing on Friday, January 19. Trinity will clash with a Colts squad coming off a 52-39 league win over Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Colts record now stands at 11-2.
