In Wednesday's non-league test, the PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) basketball squad got by the host Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA), by a score of 65-62.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) in a Coalfield AAA test, on Friday, January 17. PikeView will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Grizzlies come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 65-56 non-league loss to WestSide (Clear Fork, WV).
