Virginia High School Basketball - Colonial Forge routs Unity Reed

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Colonial Forge Eagles basketball team scored a big 82-51 triumph over the Unity Reed Lions.

The Eagles (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA). The Bears go into the Commonwealth contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Riverbend smashed Brooke Point (Stafford, VA), 75-57, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) in a Cedar Run contest, on Friday, January 17. Unity Reed will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 62-47 non-league win over Independence (Ashburn, VA).
