The Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Lennard Longhorns to 65 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now possess a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Seffner Christian for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Winthrop College Prep Academy will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 82-65 non-league win over Lakeland Christian (Lakeland, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Lennard falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Hillsborough (Tampa, FL) to confront the Terriers in a non-league game on Friday, January 17.
